Welcome to Queensland (Bowraville)

 This goes back to 2009 when a footballer from Bowraville played for Queensland. I believe he played his first professional game in Queensland to make him eligible.

There’s a theatre in the town that has been restored

It attracts Soldiers and citizens that you can only applaud

From Kakoda they come marching along the road

Where some folks have even never seen a Cane toad

The Albatross

 The Albatross goes back before 2017 when I was still doing work at 2NVR. The Albatross Behind the stern flies a giant bird Beautiful to watch, the oceans boss When the swell disappears Who do you thank? An old Boson spirit returns As an albatross If I could take a picture now I would take a bow Take a bow for the Albatross No land in sight so we watch the bird That wishes us luck as we sail the lane Some will discharge, with money to spend And when it’s gone, there’ll be miserable pain If I could do something now I’d walk to the bow Walk to the bow for the Albatross Beswick
