Post ANZAC day!

 

Post ANZAC day 2021 is just another ordinary day. I listened to an interview on radio this morning of a victim of Burn out. He never used the term “Burn out” and I won’t name him but it’s up to him to tell his story. He has my support!

You’ll hear the same figure of speech from Veterans of Industry and Military establishments. Bullying sucks!

A Maritime Union Story

  The CFMEU are in the news for the wrong reason again. I’ve not been following what's going on but I know there must be more to the story than what I've been hearing. I was a member of the Textile Workers Union, Federated Liquor and Allied Industries Employees' Union, and the Federated Ironworker’s Association before I entered the Maritime Industry. On the Way to Mullumbimby

 I changed a few words to make it easier to perform. I could make some more changes. Truckie or Trucker? The Albatross

 The Albatross goes back before 2017 when I was still doing work at 2NVR. The Albatross Behind the stern flies a giant bird Beautiful to watch, the oceans boss When the swell disappears Who do you thank? An old Boson spirit returns As an albatross If I could take a picture now I would take a bow Take a bow for the Albatross No land in sight so we watch the bird That wishes us luck as we sail the lane Some will discharge, with money to spend And when it’s gone, there’ll be miserable pain If I could do something now I’d walk to the bow Walk to the bow for the Albatross Beswick
