I cannot remember when I had a perfect sleep. Nearly 20 years ago when we were living at Smiths Lake the Doctor sent me for a study at Newcastle Hospital. I was all wired up and I never slept at all. The study was about Sleep Apnea which I had but this was a one night experience that I never want to have again. All of the people I spoke to had a history of doing shift work. I had worked on permanent Dog Watch for over 2 years in 1977 and I spent 19 years in the Maritime Industry from 1980. I've sailed through Roaring Forties, Furious Fifties, Tropical storms and many Cyclones. A Typhoon named Mac was about when I went to Japan in 1982. How do you sleep? I had an injury in 1989 that resulted in me being on Life Support for 10 days. I broke a few bones and was non weight bearing for 8 months. I had pneumonia and took Amoxicillin for nearly a year.
